Why companies lease tech experts in Belgium

Exclusive mandates, protected candidates

We work one mandate at a time on a role, so the same specialists in Belgium are not called by four agencies in the same week. That protects your employer brand and keeps our access to the market intact.

Technology is our home ground

Engineering, infrastructure, data, security and product design are what our recruiters work every single day. Deep networks, not job-board reposts.

One invoice, no entity, no employment risk

We employ the specialist in Belgium and bill you monthly. No foreign company to set up, no local payroll to run, no termination exposure.

How a mandate runs

Six steps from your first message to a specialist working inside your team in Belgium, and staying there.

You brief us

Send the job description, the budget, your ideal start date, where the person needs to be based, whether the role is on-site, hybrid or remote, and how your interview process runs. That is enough for us to say yes or no the same day.

We sign a one-page mandate

A single page, no strings attached, no retainer. It exists so we can mobilise recruiters and start scouting immediately.

Our recruiters go to market

We approach specialists in Belgium directly, including people who are not looking, and pre-screen them against your brief before you ever see a CV.

We present candidates

You get a shortlist with our screening notes, typically within 48 hours of the mandate being signed.

You interview and decide

Your process, your call. We run the scheduling, chase feedback and handle the offer conversation so momentum does not leak.

We contract and keep them happy

We sign the specialist on a contractor or employment agreement, depending on your requirements, invoice you monthly, and check in with them every month so problems surface early instead of as a resignation.

What we need to open a mandate

Six answers. With these we can tell you the same day whether the role is winnable in Belgium, and brief our recruiters immediately.

The job description

The role, the stack, the seniority, and what a successful first six months looks like.

The budget

A salary range or day rate. We will tell you straight away whether it clears the market in Belgium, before anyone wastes a month.

The ideal start date

So we filter on notice periods from the beginning instead of discovering them at offer stage.

Location and work model

Where the person must be based, and whether the role is on-site, hybrid or fully remote. That is your call to make, and it changes the candidate pool more than salary does.

Your interview process

Who pre-screens, whether you or we run the technical vetting, how many rounds there are, and who the candidate meets at each one. Candidates drop out of vague processes.

Exclusivity

Whether the mandate is exclusive to us. It is one of the first things we look at when deciding whether to take a project on.

Why we ask for exclusivity

Every agency calls the same fifty people. We would rather call them once, properly, on your behalf.

Most of our mandates are exclusive, and it is one of the main criteria we use when deciding whether to take a project on. In a market the size of Belgium, a given role has a finite pool of genuinely qualified specialists. If four agencies are working it at once, those people get contacted four times in a week, expectations inflate, and the good ones stop answering entirely. With an exclusive mandate we approach each person once, with a clear and accurate story about your company, and we can afford to work the market properly instead of racing competitors to the same inbox.

Non-exclusive mandates are possible, but we review them case by case.

Employer of Record

Already found the person yourself? In most of our markets we can employ them on your behalf, subject to approval. You bring the candidate; we handle the contract, the local paperwork and the monthly payroll. Nothing else changes about how you work with them.

  • You source the specialist, we become the legal employer
  • Employment contract, onboarding paperwork and monthly payroll
  • Available in most of our markets, subject to approval

How we charge

One standard fee on top of the specialist's employment cost. It covers the recruiting effort, the contract, and the monthly check-ins that keep people in place. There is no placement fee, no retainer, and nothing due before someone actually starts.

  • A single monthly rate per specialist, agreed in writing before the start
  • No separate recruitment fee and no hidden onboarding costs
  • Invoices payable within 15 days

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is tech expert staff leasing?
Staff leasing is a model in which a provider legally employs a specialist and leases them full-time to a client company. The client directs the day-to-day work exactly as it would for its own staff, while the provider carries the employment contract, payroll, taxes and local labour-law compliance. It differs from project outsourcing because you keep control of priorities, tools and code, and it differs from recruitment because there is no permanent hire and no placement fee.
How is staff leasing different from outsourcing or a recruitment agency?
With outsourcing you buy a deliverable and the vendor manages the work. With a recruitment agency you pay a one-off fee and then employ the person yourself. With staff leasing you get a dedicated specialist who works only for you, under your technical direction, on a monthly rate that already includes employment, payroll and compliance in Belgium.
What do you need from us to start?
Six things: the job description, the budget, your ideal start date, where the person needs to be based, whether the role is on-site, hybrid or remote, and how your interview process runs. We also ask whether the mandate is exclusive. With those answers we can tell you the same day whether the role is winnable in Belgium.
Do you require exclusivity?
We work almost exclusively on exclusive mandates, and it is one of the main criteria we use when deciding whether to take a project on. It stops the same small pool of qualified specialists being contacted by several recruiters at once, which inflates expectations and makes good candidates go quiet. Non-exclusive mandates are possible but reviewed case by case.
What is the mandate document?
A simple one-page document that lets us mobilise recruiters and start scouting. There is no lock-in, no retainer and no obligation to hire anyone we present. It exists so both sides are clear on the role and the terms before we spend money working the market.
How does the interview process work?
You define it and we run to it. Tell us who pre-screens, whether you or we carry out the technical vetting, how many rounds there are and who the candidate meets at each stage. We always pre-screen for the brief and communication before presenting anyone, and we handle scheduling, feedback chasing and the offer conversation.
How quickly can a specialist start in Belgium?
We aim to present a shortlist within 48 hours of the mandate being signed. Interviews usually run the same week, and a typical engagement starts two to four weeks after the first conversation, depending on the candidate's notice period and the seniority of the role.
Who is the legal employer, and who handles payroll and compliance?
Cybrient Technologies SA employs the leased specialist and is responsible for the employment contract, payroll, social contributions, taxes and data-protection obligations in Belgium. You receive one monthly invoice and never take on a foreign entity, local payroll setup or employment risk.
What does it cost, and what are the payment terms?
We charge one standard fee on top of the specialist's employment cost, billed as a single predictable monthly rate per person. The rate depends on the role, the seniority level and the market in Belgium, and it is agreed in writing before anyone starts. There is no placement fee and no retainer. Invoices are payable within 15 days.
Do you offer Employer of Record?
Yes, in most of our markets and subject to approval. If you have already found the person, you bring them to us and we become the legal employer: contract, local onboarding paperwork and monthly payroll. You keep managing the work exactly as before.
Can we scale the team up or down, or end the engagement?
Yes. Engagements run on monthly commitments with straightforward notice periods, so you can add specialists, reduce headcount or exit as your roadmap changes, without renegotiating a long-term contract.
What happens if a specialist is not the right fit?
We replace them. Candidates are pre-vetted before you interview, but if someone does not work out in practice we source a replacement and manage the handover so knowledge stays inside your team. Our monthly check-ins exist so those problems surface early.
Do you only recruit for technology roles?
Technology is our primary expertise (engineering, infrastructure, data, security, QA and product design) and it is where our recruiters have the deepest networks. We are extending into other specialist fields, and where a role falls outside what we can win we will say so and refer you to a vetted partner.
Which markets and languages do you cover?
We operate a network of country-specific sites across Europe and beyond, run from one Swiss company in Geneva, and serve clients and candidates in dozens of languages. Whichever market you are hiring in, it stays one contract and one invoice.
